On Tuesday, Apple has released the new iOS 11.2.6 update to fix the Telugu character bug that was crashing iPhones and apps like iMessages, Facebook messenger, and Whatsapp when anyone received a single Telugu Character via iMessage. Telugu character bug is causing problems to iPhone users since last week.
The bug is fixed with the new iOS 11.2.6 update which includes a fix for the bug. The bug was discovered last week and soon apple took a step by bringing up the new update to fix this bug.
The bug not only causes an iPhone to crash and make apps inaccessible but also affects Safari and the built-in Messaging app. The bug not only affects iPhones but also apple watches, TV, and macOS. The update also stops crashing of watchOS, tvOS, and macOS.
The bug completely freezes up the entire Messaging app on a person’s Mac and iOS devices, if a Telugu character sent in an iMessage. Due to the bug, the Messaging app will not function properly until the bug or the Telugu character causing a problem is removed. The bug or the character can only be removed by deleting the conversation with the person who sent it. The bug might cause the entire device to crash if the character is viewed through notification.
Last month Apple announced the new iOS 11.3 update. According to the sources, the update will include features giving its users the power to control their batteries, Augmented Reality and Animoji. The new iOS 11.3 update will be released this spring which will involve new ways to experience Augmented Reality on your device and iPad, with new Animoji on your iPhone X devices. The release will also involve the ability to view health records in the Health app.
