Apple Will Replace Defective MacBook Pro Batteries

Apple on Friday stated that some constituent failure in a portion of the MacBook Pro’s has made the battery to expand, including, it will offer general free substitution for such batteries. It said the deformity, announced in some 13-inch MacBook Pro’s without touch bars, isn’t a security issue.

Apple has unveiled a program to change the batteries of some non-Touch Bar 13-inch MacBook Pros for free. The association says that a “settled number” have had their batteries exchanged. The influenced units were made between October 2016 and October 2017, Apple stated, without giving the genuine number of influenced MacBook’s. It underwent examination after it affirmed in December that product to manage aging batteries in iPhone 6, iPhone 6s and iPhone SE models could slow down the performance. It brought down the cost of battery substitutions to $29 from $79.




In the event that their PC qualifies, clients can convey their MacBook Pro to visit an approved merchant or a retail location or can mail it to Apple’s repair focus. The page for the program has a field for owners to present their PC serial number to check its qualification.  Clients who have just replaced their battery can contact the organization to check about getting a discount.
