Blackberry KeyONE Receives A Price Cut In India; Key 2 To Launch In India Soon
Blackberry once renowned for its mobile phones has found it difficult in the past few years to hold on to its position in the market. Blackberry is trying its best to create an appeal to a specialized section of the population with its Android phones.
Blackberry KeyONE which was launched in India during August 2017 at a starting price of Rs.39,999 has recently received a price reduction of Rs.6024. This price reduction might hint at the launch of KEY 2 in India sometime soon.
The all-new eye-catchy Blackberry KEY 2 is bundled with exciting features like a physical qwerty keyboard in this tech-savvy era. This physical qwerty keyboard will provide blackberry with an edge in this competitive market. It is absolutely handy for people who are more comfortable in qwerty keyboard than the touch one.
The display screen is 4.5 inches long with an IPS LCD 3:2 aspect ratio and a strong gorilla glass 3 protection. It is powered by an Octacore Snapdragon 660 processor at 1.8 GHz, Adreno 610 GPU. It has an astonishing 64GB RAM and 64/128 GB inbuilt storage and MicroSD card support up to 256GB. With Quick Charge 3.0, the battery is backed by a 3500mAh. The device runs Android 8.1 Oreo.
It has 12MP+12MP rear dual camera setup, the primary 12MP camera comes with f/1.8 aperture, 1.28um pixel size, a f/2.6 aperture with PDAF, dual tone LED flash. It also has an 8MP front-facing camera with a screen flash. The fingerprint sensor is ideally located just above the display. Other prominent features include 4G LTE, WiFi 801-11b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, GPS, A-GPS, magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity and ambient light sensor.
With all the above-mentioned features and a thickness of 8.5mm, the 64GB model will cost around INR 43,000.
Nothing official has been reported by Blackberry as of now but with the price reduction of KeyONE, a new launch can be expected in India soon.
