How To Check EPF Balance | PF Balance Check With UAN Number | EPF Balance Check On Mobile | EPF Balance Passbook

How To Check EPF Balance?

To check your epf balance has now become easier and hassle-free. Now, an individual can check his or her epf balance in their epf account anytime and anywhere. Epf balance can now be checked either by way of an SMS, by giving a missed call or by using the EPFO app or portal.

By Sending SMS

An individual can check his or her epf balance, simply by sending an SMS. All you need to do is follow the simple steps mentioned below.

Step1: SMS to 7738299899

Step2: send message EPFOHO UAN ENG to the above number. ENG is the preferred language (first three characters of the preferred language. If your preferred language is Marathi, type MAR).

By Missed Call

An individual can also get his or her epf balance through a missed call. All you need is your UAN and follow the steps mentioned below.

Step 1: give a missed call from your registered mobile number to 011-22901406.

Step 2: you will receive your pdf details after giving the missed call.

By Using EPFO App

In order to use the EPFO app, you need to make sure that your UAN number is activated. To check your epf balance using your EPFO app, follow the steps mentioned below.




Step 1: Download the app from google play.

Step 2: After the app is downloaded, click on a member and then on balance or passbook.

Step 3: Then, enter your UAN details and registered mobile number. After the entered details are matched, you will receive your epf details.

By Using EPFO Portal

Follow the below-mentioned steps to check your epf details using EPFO portal.

Step 1: Go to the EPFO portal.

Step 2: click on ‘our services’.

Step 3: Choose ‘for employees’.

Step 4: Then, choose ‘member passbook’ under option ‘services’.

Step 5: A log in window will pop up. There, enter your UAN number and password.

Step 6: Now, you can access your epf account.

EPF Balance Check With UAN Number

To check your epf balance using your UAN number, follow the below-mentioned steps.

Step 1: employees require to log in the member portal by visiting the official website of EPFO. There, you need to enter your 12 digit UAN number and password to view your account details.

To use your account, it is mandatory that you have activated your UAN number. If not activated, then activate it by clicking on the link ‘activate UAN’. After entering the right credentials, it will take four days for activating your UAN.

Step 2: after logging in, you can find all kind of online services available on EPFO portal. There, you can track your status, and transfer request.

Step 3: you can access your epf passbook by clicking on the profile and then on passbook address.

Step 4: after clicking on view passbook, you will be redirected to separate window where you will be required to enter your 12 digit UAN number and password.

Step 5: after entering the right credentials, you will be able to access your passbook.

EPF Balance Check On Mobile

Epf balance can be checked using an individual’s mobile. An individual can check their epf balance by sending an SMS from their registered mobile number, by giving a missed call from your registered mobile number or you can also download the EPFO app from google play.

Step 2: You can access your epf passbook by clicking on view passbook.

Step 3: After clicking on view passbook, you will be redirected to separate window where you will be required to enter your 12 digit UAN number and password.

Step 4: After entering the right credentials, you will be able to access your passbook.
