Huawei Y9 (2019) with Kirin 710 SoC, Quad Cameras Officially Launched
The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Huawei has launched its latest smartphone Huawei Y9 on Monday in China. The Huawei Y9 is the the successor to the Huawei Y9 2018 which came with Kirin-659 SOC and Quad Cameras. It comes packed with upgraded Specs along with a new design sporting 3D curved glass body with curved edges on the rear. It also has a 19:9 notch display on the front. It will be available in various color options such as Midnight black, Blue Swarovski, and Aurora purple color variants, later this month in China. At present, there is no information provided about price and it’s availability in other regions.
Huawei Y9 Features and Specifications
This Huawei Y9 comes with a 6.5-inch FullView IPS display with Full HD+ (2340×1080 pixels) resolution. Huawei Y9 is powered by all new 12mm Hisilicon Kirin 710 octa-core processor coupled with Mali -G51 GPU. This device will be available in 4GB and 6GB variant with 64GB and 128GB of internal storage respectively, with a MicroSD card for further expansion of storage.
The Huawei Y9 2019 sports 13MP+2MP dual cameras set up at the back with 16MP+2MP dual front cameras. The front and rear cameras, both are mentioned to come equipped with AI features for capturing a better picture. It also has a circular fingerprint sensor on the rear which comes with a gesture support. It is backed by a 3900mAh non-removable battery backup and supports 9V/2A (18W) fast charging. It also has various connectivity options including 4G VOLTE, Wi-fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
