Infinix Hot 8 With 4GB RAM, 64GB Internal Storage Launched In India At Rs.6,999

Hong Kong-based company, Infinix has launched its latest smartphone Infinix Hot 8 in India. The phone will be available on Flipkart in Quetzal Cyan and Cosmic Purple color variants on September 15 from 12 PM IST. The dimensions of the phone are 165 x 76.3 x 8.7mm and weigh up to 179 grams. This budget device comes actually equipped with some interesting specs at a very reasonable price.

Infinix Hot 8 is powered by a 2 MHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor. It comes with 4GB of RAM. The Infinix Hot 8 runs XOS 5.0 based on Android 9 Pie and packs 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 256GB) with a dedicated slot. The device is provided with a large 6.52-inch HD+ display (720×1600 pixels) with a waterdrop notch having a 20:9 aspect ratio, 90.3% screen-to-body ratio and 2.5D glass protection. The Infinix Hot 8 is a dual-SIM smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards.

This smartphone comes with a triple setup rear camera – 13MP main camera, 2MP depth camera along with low light camera sensor and 8MP front camera with LED flash support. The bezels are quite slim. Rear camera features include PDAF, QUAD LED flash support, eight scene modes, AR Stickers, Custom Bokeh, AI HDR, AT Beauty, Panorama while Front camera features include AI Portrait, AI Beauty, Wide Selfie and much more.

The phone is powered by 5,000 mAh battery that lasts up to 18.1 hours of 4G talk-time, 17.6 hours of playback music, 14 hours of playback video, 18.6 hours Web surfing, 11.4 hours of gaming and 25.4 days of standby time. Connectivity options include Bluetooth v5.0, USB OTG, 3.5mm audio jack (a bit old tech nowadays)and Micro-USB port. The sensors onboard include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, proximity sensor, and a rear fingerprint sensor. The phone supports Face Unlock as well.

The phone is originally priced at 7,999 INR but the company has announced an introductory reduced price of 6,999 INR on the device till October 30.
