iOS 11 is performance optimised for 64-bit apps. 32-bit apps will need to be updated by the app developer to work with this version of iOS.
Some features may not be available in all countries or all areas.

How to install iOS 11?

Here’s how to install the iOS update on your device through a Wi-Fi or mobile connection:

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap General > Software Update.
  3. Tap Download and Install.
  4. Enter your passcode.
  5. Agree to the terms and conditions.

The device will need to automatically restart to complete the installation.

You can also install iOS 11 via iTunes by connecting your device to your computer. If an iTunes popup doesn’t ask you right away to update, click on your device and choose Summary. Then, click on Check for Update. That should kickstart the installation process.

#ProTip – Use iTunes to download the update. Might be safer and faster. Won’t work if you’ve poor Internet connectivity.
