iPhone X is still making quite a buzz but there’s already speculation about the upcoming iPhone 2018. Ming-Chi Kuo, the KGI securities shared few new details about the upcoming 2018 6.1 inch iPhone. Rumours about the same are already making rounds and creating a lot of buzz among the gadget lovers.

The upcoming 2018 iPhone will be almost similar to the all-new iPhone X, but will still have some major differences from the previously iPhone models.

The new iPhone this year will consist of two models, pretty much similar to the iPhone X. one of the models is expected to be of size 5.8 inch and the other model to be of larger mode. Apart from size differences, these models will be similar much.

It is expected that this year, the iPhone will be a new LCD based iPhone, hopefully with same design cues, including the slim bezels ad a taller aspect ratio.

With Kuo predictions, the 6.1 inch iPhone model is expected to cost $700 to $800, which is slightly higher than the original estimate of $650 to $750.

Though the upcoming 2018 iPhone is expected to come with the LCD screen with a lower resolution, the phone is expected to come with a single camera instead of regular dual camera setup. Instead of the storage to be of 4GB, this time it will come with 3GB of storage and will have an aluminium frame instead of steel.

Ming-Chi Kuo also believes that this time the big game changer will be the 3D touch.
This time, Apple will be ceasing the production of iPhone X in the summer, earlier than usual. Traditionally, apple always continues to make older models even after the arrival of the new model.

Just like the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus, the upcoming model will have a standard non-stacked logic board and a rectangular battery pack.
