Microsoft Surface Go Windows 10 Tablet Launched At $399 (4GB/64GB)

Today, Microsoft has unveiled the Surface Go Windows 10 Tablet today. It is a Microsoft alternative for Apple iPad launched in March this year. The Apple iPad priced $399 sports a stylus support and a 9.7-inch screen.

It is designed specifically for users of Google’s Chrome books. It has made reading books online easier. It serves educational purposes. Surface Go Windows 10 tablet has built-in kickstand at the back. The design of Surface Go is similar to premium surface pro tablets. It is available in two variants.

One of which has 4 GB RAM with 64 GB internal storage, it cost about $399. Another variant has 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage, it costs is about $549. Interested customers can place their orders from today and the Surface Go will be delivered for use from August. As of now, no information is known about its global availability. Variants of windows 10 pro might be priced $50 extra, then standard variants.

The Surface Go features a 10-inch display with a resolution of 1800×1200 pixels and an aspect ratio of 3:2. The Surface pen is provided with it for stylus input. The Surface go ensures high performance with its Intel Pentium gold 4415Y processor clocked at 1.6 GHz.

It also sports Intel HD 615 GPU. It offers two storage options to users. The first option features 4 GB or 8 GB LPDDR3 along with 64 GB of eMMC storage and the second option features 128 GB or 256 GB SSD storage. The Surface Go sports amazing connectivity by Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi. The Surface Go also supports on the go connectivity by 4G LTE. The surface Go requires the 24w charger, which is provided with it. It boasts of about 9 hours of video playback time.

The Surface Go features Micro SD card slot, 3.5 mm audio jack, surface connect and it supports USB Type-C 3.1. Its dimensions are 245x175x8.3 mm. It weighs about 512 grams which is about 31% lighter as compared to the new Surface Pro. Its slim design and hardware efficiency has made it worth the price.

Its launch date and price in India is not disclosed yet. Overall, it is an amazing laptop with best features.
