After Oneplus and Xiaomi, Motorola is also set to race for Smart TVs in India. The company launched its first Android-based Smart TV lineup in partnership with Flipkart. The Motorola Android TVs range will be available on Flipkart starting from September 29, during the Big Billion Days sale.
Motorola TVs comes with thin bezels and will ensure smoother visuals using Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation (MEMC) technology. Motorola’s new smart TVs come with 30W front-firing speakers, coupled with DTS TruSurround and Dolby Audio support and runs on Android 9 Pie put-of-the box. Going by the specs, the TV will have the 60Hz refresh rate and have different models having full-HD or 4K resolution screen. The soundbar is placed right below the TV screen in all the size variants.
The Motorola Smart TV range will be available in various sizes and resolutions, including 32-inch (HD 720p – 13,999 INR), 43-inch (Full-HD 1080p – 24,999 INR), 43-inch (Ultra-HD 2160p – 29,999 INR), 50-inch (Ultra-HD 2160p – 33,999 INR), 55-inch (Ultra-HD 2160p – 39,999 INR), and 65-inch (Ultra-HD 2160p – 64,999 INR).
Interestingly, the Motorola TVs come with a gamepad, which will allow users to install and play games on the TV using the Android TV platforms as well as Google Play Store. This might tempt gamers more.
