New Oxygen OS Update Gives OnePlus 6 Users The Ability To Use Portrait Mode For Selfies

OnePlus 6 was launched in India on the 17th of May at a starting price of Rs 34,999. The China-based smartphone company has come up with a flagship device this time with a continuous addition of new updates and the OxygenOS 5.1.6 update is just another part of it.

This OxygenOs 5.1.6 update brings the popular portrait mode into the selfie arena and promises high-quality selfie and an improved video calling feature. OnePlus 6 comes with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with an LED flash. The new update also involves highlights like the ability to display the battery percentage in the status bar, dual 4G network support in SIM and Network Settings, and the ability to answer calls automatically whilst connected or connecting to a Bluetooth device.

OnePlus 6 delivers a unique visual experience as it is sleek and has a bezel-less display. It is available in 64 GB and 128 GB variants. Unlike OnePlus 5, the OnePlus 6 is water resistant and dust proof at the very same time. The front-facing fingerprint reader gives users the ability to record numerous fingerprints that can be used to unlock the device.

The OnePlus 6 is significant for its powerful 16+20 megapixel primary cameras which can be even used for low-light photography and video shooting. The courtesy for this goes to its dual LED-flash.
