Nokia 9.1 PureView To Launch Soon With 5G Support & SD855

When HMD Global introduced the Nokia 9 PureView at Mobile World Congress earlier this year, it drew a lot of attention for being the world’s first smartphone with five cameras at the back. The Nokia 9 PureView may soon have a successor (Nokia 9.1 PureView) launching in early Q4,2019. This launch was earlier scheduled to be held in Q3 but the company does not want to be in a hurry leaving scope for bad camera quality just like last time. The postponement is said to be as a result of some unresolved issues with certain aspects of the phone such as its camera. We hope the delay is worth it, so as to avoid a repeat of the negative reviews the Nokia 9 PureView suffered.

Nokia 9.1 PureView Expected Price, Features & Specifications

To recall, HMD Global launched the Nokia 9 PureView in India earlier this month priced at Rs 49,999. The flagship smartphone offers a premium glass design, stock Android Pie software and 2K pOLED display, among other things. The highlight of the smartphone was the Penta rear camera set up but it turns out there is still scope for improvement on the camera front and its successor Nokia 9.1 PureView is the answer to it. Further, to assist these camera improvements, there could be a ‘better processor’ and software tweaks with the help of Light.

Nokia 9.1 Pureview is expected to come equipped with Snapdragon 855 processor and run on Android Q. The report says that the smartphone will come with a punch-hole display and run on Android Q. The display bezels of the Nokia 9.1 will likely be much smaller than what we saw on the Nokia 9, which had a large forehead and even larger chin. There are no solid rumors yet related to internal storage or the amount of RAM in the device. Only after the launch, we’ll get to know if the device is up to the mark or not.
