Oppo takes the curtains off on its budget smartphone Oppo A1k. This is the second smartphone which the company has launched in a month in India. Before its launch, the phone has gained quite an attention because of the leaks and speculations which were made about the smartphone. Oppo unveiled the smartphone on Tuesday in India, a week after its initial launch in Russia. The Oppo A1k has metallic finish body and comes with 4000mAH battery which are key highlights of the newly launched smartphone.
The Oppo new “A” series, A1k comes with 6.1-inch water notch display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and the screen is protected with Gorilla Glass. Talking about the camera, there is a single camera on both the rear and front of the phone. It supports 8MP primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture while the selfie camera is of 5MP with an f/22.0 aperture.
The phone has 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM. It runs on Android 9.0 pie and it is powered with Media Tek Helio P22(MT 6762) Soc. The smartphone supports 10w charging and the company claims that the battery life can extend up to 17 hours. It is a dual sim device and supports 4G VoLTE. The phone will be available in red and black color options. According to the Oppo, the Oppo A series can “effectively serve multiple user scenarios while reducing power consumption”. The chip is also powerful enough to handle multimedia operations. “From gaming to watching videos to just plain web browsing, users can enjoy an unparalleled and immersive experience”, Oppo added.
The phone is priced at Rs.8,490 and is available for sale via offline stores.
