Oppo K3 With Pop-Up Selfie Camera To Launch In India Soon

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer OPPO is set to launch its affordable smartphone in India, Oppo K3. The Oppo K3 with AMOLED screen and pop-up selfie camera was launched in China back in May. The handset is a successor to the last year’s Oppo K1. As per the report, Oppo is certainly bringing the K3 to India and there will only be few additional features and hardware upgrades from Oppo K1. It is expected to come in three color variants: Nebula Purple, Morning White, and Secret Black.

Oppo K3 Expected Features And Specifications 

Oppo claimed to have included a next-generation in-display fingerprint scanner, which is believed to have 28.5% faster unlocking speed. With a screen to body ratio of 91.1% and gorilla glass protection, the smartphone is predicted to be running on Android 9.0 (pie) operating system. The front camera of the phone is rumored to house 16MP lens for capturing captivating selfies and at the back, it might support the 16MP rear camera with a 2MP secondary camera (depth sensor). The device is also expected to come incorporated with 3,765mAh battery which will also support VOOC 3.0 fast charging.

The phone is believed to be powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor. To interest the users more, the phone is anticipated to come loaded with a bunch of camera features including AI portrait mode, AI scene detention along with Ultra Clear Night View 2.0 feature to brighten the dark shots.

According to the circulated news, the phone comes with a 6.5 inch AMOLED display along with DC dimming feature. The panel is predicted to throw images at Full HD+ display (1080×2340 pixels) and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The eye protection feature of the device is presumed to point towards the TUV Rheinland certification of the display for cutting down blue light emission.

The phone is assumed to be preloaded with GameBoost 2.0 that brings Frame Boost and Touch Boost features for the enhanced gaming experience. Further for uplifting network performance of gaming, users could also leverage LinkBoost 2.0. 

If the company manages to keep similar pricing as that of the Chinese variant then the expected price would be around 16,100 INR for the base variant 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, while for upper variant 6GB RAM + 128 GB storage, roughly cost will be 19,100 INR and the top-end 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant will be priced at 23,200 INR.
