The Pixel 3 XL and iPhone XS smartphones shares some come common specs and differ slightly with each other in some features. The Google Pixel 3 XL comes with a 6.30-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1440 pixels by 2960 pixels. The dimensions of this smartphone measure 158.0*76.70*7.90 (height*weight*thickness) and weigh around 184.00 grams.

On the other hand, the Apple iPhone XS comes with a 5.80-inch all-screen display with a resolution of 1125 pixels by 2436 pixels at a PPI of 458 pixels per inch. It measures 143.60*70.90*7.70 and weighs around 177.00 grams.

So, Pixel 3 XL display is actually larger than the iPhone XS.


The Google Pixel 3 XL comes with a P-OLED capacitive touchscreen display with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistant featuring the Corning Gorilla Glass 5. And on the other hand, the iPhone XS comes with a Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with an oleophobic coating and a scratch resistant glass.


The Google Pixel 3 XL is powered by the 2.5 GHz octa-core processor (4*2.5 GHz + 4*1.6 GHz) and the device runs on the Adreno 630 GPU and Android 3.0 operating system. And sports a Qualcomm SDM845 Snapdragon 845 chip. And the iPhone XS is powered by the Hexa-Core (2x Vortex + 4x Tempest) processor.iPhone XS runs on iOS 12 and features an Apple A12 Bionic chip along with an Apple GPU(4 core graphics).

The pixel 3 XL is equipped with a 12.2-megapixel primary camera set-up on its rear with an aperture of f/1.8 and 1.4 micron and contains an 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies. And also features Dual-LED flash, Auto -HDR and Panorama.

In contrast, the Apple iPhone XS comes with a dual 12-megapixel camera with an aperture of f/1.8 and 1.4 micron and one with an aperture of f/2.4 primary camera set-up on its rear featuring Quad-LED dual-tone flash and HDR( photo/panorama). It also has a 7-megapixel front shooter for selfies with HDR feature.


Both these smartphones feature the non-removable battery. The Google Pixel 3 XL smartphone features a non-removable Li-Po 3430mAh battery supporting Ql wireless charging. This device also supports fast battery charging 9V/ 2A  18W. And, the iPhone XS has 2658mAh battery supporting a talk time of 20 hours and music play up to 60 hours.

Storage & Price

The pixel 3 Xl comes equipped with 4GB of RAM and has an in-built internal storage of 64 GB. And the iPhone XS also comes with a 4GB RAM and an internal storage of 64/256/512 GB. The storage of these smartphones cannot be further expanded.

Google Pixel 3 XL is available at a price of Rs. 83,000 whereas the price of iPhone XS starts from Rs. 99,990


Since both of these smartphones have all the desirable features of the modern smartphone, so, it is difficult to choose which is better among these two. You can select any of these two smartphones as per your requirements and needs. If you need a very high storage then you can go with the iPhone XS. But, if you are a price conscious and does not require a very high storage then you can go and purchase the Google Pixel 3 XL. Even if you need the large plus size model you can purchase the Pixel 3 XL.
