Realme Confirms The Android Pie Update For The Realme 1 And Realme 2

Realme has launched a total of four smartphones in India till now, the Realme 1, Realme 2, Realme 2 Pro and the Realme C1. But, neither of these smartphones runs the latest version of Android, the Android Pie. Realme has debuted in India as an online-only OPPO sub-brand back in May and later it had become an independent smartphone brand.

Now, the company has confirmed the release of Android Pie update for two of its smartphones the Realme 1 and Realme 2. The Realme 1 and 2 which were launched in India in May and August respectively will get Android Pie updates. The 3GB RAM variant of Realme 2 costs Rs.9499 while the Realme C1 costs Rs.7999. The company has said that it will not increase the price of Realme 2 Pro in India.

The confirmation of the Android Pie update for these smartphones come from the Realme India’s customer support handle on Twitter. But, the company has not provided any timeline for the updates. The company has also not provided any information for the Android Pie updates for its two other smartphones, the Realme 2 Pro and the Realme C1.

The company also confirmed the rollout ColorOS 5.2 update for the Realme 1 in the next month. And, the company will release the roll out of November security patches for the Realme C1 and Realme 2 today.
