Process For Activating Jio eSim On iPhone XR, XS, And XS Max
For activating eSIM on Jio, you need to visit your nearest JioStore or Reliance Digital along with your iPhone for the IMEI and fill CAF (Customer Acquisition Form). After it is done and the details are confirmed, the Jio representative enters the details on POS(Point of Scale) machine and generates the QR code and scan it to your iPhone to activate the eSIM. This conversion process of converting the nano-SIM to eSIM will take about 5 minutes. However, the conversion process might take about a few hours for the eSIM to get activated.
The primary SIM would be the nano-SIM card and the secondary SIM card will be the eSIM which can be activated easily is set by default. This order can be changed or one can even use the eSIM as the primary SIM card or any other as per their choice if their operator supports it.
The eSIM activation has started today in most metro cities today. This will might take a few days by Reliance Jio to implement this eSIM activation process across all its stores in India.
