Samsung Electronics today launched its flagship smartphone Galaxy Note 8 in India at Rs.67,900, opening up infinite possibilities for the future with a new level of design, functionality and user convenience. The Galaxy Note 8 redefines the future of style and consumer experience with a stunning bezel-less 6.3″ Quad HD+ Super AMOLED Display that provides a truly cinematic viewing experience. The smartphone is now available for pre-bookings in India and will start shipping to users from September 21. Galaxy Note 8 will be available to buy via Amazon India, Samsung retail stores, and the Samsung online stores.

Galaxy Note 8 builds on Samsung’s heritage of creating stunning designs and meaningful innovations that transform people’s lives. The Infinity Display and bezel-less design give you 18% more screen and form a smooth, continuous surface with no buttons or harsh angles, making multitasking more convenient with the 6.3-inch Note 8. The physical home key on the front has given way to a more intuitive soft key with a pressure sensor that is embedded under the display. The Note 8 comes with the S-pen stylus, which can be used even when the phone’s screen is off, such as to take notes or make a shopping list.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Specifications

Galaxy Note 8 runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat and sports a 6.3-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED (2960 x 1440 pixels) display, and is powered by an octa-core Exynos 8895 (10nm-based) 64-bit processor and comes with 6GB of RAM.

This is the first note device to have the dual lens rear camera combined with the primary wide angle 12MP camera with dual pixel autofocus and F/1.7 aperture and secondary telephoto 12MP camera with F/2.4 aperture and 2X optical zoom, up to 10x digital zoom. The front camera bears an 8-megapixel camera with F/1.7 aperture. Galaxy Note 8 comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage with the option to expand further via a microSD slot (up to 256GB).

Galaxy Note 8 connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C, and NFC GPS and sensors include Accelerometer, Barometer, Fingerprint Scan, Gyro, Geomagnetic, Hall, Heart Rate, Proximity, RGB Light, Iris Scanner and Pressure. The Galaxy Note 8 houses a 3300mAh non-removable battery with fast charging support. The Smartphone measures 162.5×74.8×8.6mm and weighs 195 grams.
