Samsung and iPhone being rivals, launched their phones in September. Samsung launched its Galaxy Note 8 on 29th September 2017 while Apple launched it’s iPhone 8 plus on 22nd September 2017. Galaxy Note 8 VS iPhone 8 Plus

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 comes with 6.3-inch wide edge-to-edge touchscreen display with the resolution of 1440 by 2960 pixels. Whereas, Apple iPhone 8 plus comes with the 5.5-inch touchscreen display with the resolution of 1080 by 1920 pixels. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 price starts from Rs. 67,900, while iPhone 8 plus starts from 69,900.

Comparatively, iPhone is wider and heavier (3.1 inches across and 7.13 ounces versus 2.9 inches and 6.9 ounces) than Samsung Galaxy Note 8. However, both the Phones are water resistant, but iPhone 8 plus is a flat slab and is durable.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 comes with two colours namely, Midnight Black and Orchid Grey. Whereas, Apple iPhone 8 plus comes with three colour options, Silver, Gold and Space Grey.
Display of iPhone 8 plus is bright and colourful and offers a wide colour of scope. Moreover, this time apple has come up with True Tone Technology which automatically adjusts the white balance of the screen to make reading easier. Though, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is not the sharper and has sRGB colour gamut.

Comparing both the phones, iPhone’s display is slightly more colour accurate with a Delta-E rating of 0.25 as compared to 0.5 for the Note 8.

Talking about the performance of both the phones, Galaxy Note 8 comes with Snapdragon octa-core 835 chip, where Apple has come up with all new A11 Bionic processor high-powered, 6-core chip. iPhone 8 plus again sprints past the Note 8.

According to the research, when a 2-minute 4K video was exported, iPhone 8 plus took only 42 seconds as compared to Note 8 which took just over 3 minutes.

Note 8 is powered by 3300mAh non-removable battery with the dual sim that accepts Nano-sim. While iPhone 8 plus runs on iOs 11 and is powered by a 2691mAh non-removable battery.

Talking about RAM, Note 8 comes with 6GB RAM while iPhone 8 plus comes with 2GB RAM. Both the phones come with Fingerprint sensor. While iPhone has the Fingerprint sensor placed in front, Note 8 has its Fingerprint sensor placed at rear.
