TCL Backed Palm Could Launch A New Smartphone With 3.3-Inch Display And Android 8.1 Oreo





Nowadays a smartphone is a basic necessity. With changing times, the features and designs of smartphones are also changing. One of the prominent features of the smartphone is its touch responsive display. Bigger the display, better is video watching experience on the device. Contradicting this trend of big size display, TCL backed brand Palm will launch a tiny smartphone with a display of 3.3- inch display. Palm is making comeback this year by introducing this new device. According to reports, the Android police got their hands on the renders of the Palm device. The codename of this device is Pepito. This Android smartphone with its petite look is for people who want to purchase their first smartphone or those who are looking for a backup phone. Price and date of launch of this phone are not yet revealed.

Features And Specifications





The UPI of this smartphone is its 3.3-inch HD display. This LCD display has a pixel density of 445 PPI. This device has physical buttons and three dots at the front. The dots may be software keys or hardware keys. The function of these dots is not revealed yet. Volume keys of this device are missing and power key is placed on the right side of the device.

The design of Pepito might be inspired by the Apple’s iPhone X. It will feature a vertical camera setup. Features of the front and rear cameras of this phone are not revealed yet. According to a report, the phone operates on Android 8.1 Oreo. It is expected to powered by a Snapdragon 435 chipset.




This device has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage. It is not clear whether the storage will be expandable or not. The device will sport an 800 mAh battery. Though it appears to be less powerful and it is expected to power the device for a complete day. With the introduction of this new Pepito (Palm) smartphone, it is expected that TCL is aiming at the budget segment. The real question is how this device is going to hold up in the market with other smart devices. More information on this device is expected to be revealed soon.
