Xiaomi Backed Black Shark Releases The Design Of It’s New Phone, To Be Launched On April 19

Xiaomi’s Black shark phone has been spotted in a teaser image on a Chinese social media sites Weibo. The Black Shark gaming smartphone is set to be launched on April 13. The promo also features a text which states “born to compete”. Though we only got a partial image of what the phone might look like and doesn’t give much away, we can see that it surely conveys the feeling of precision and speed.

Expected Features




It’s speculated that the Black Shark phone would launch with a Snapdragon 845 chipset and a 120Hz display, while GizmoChina suggests it could show up in three versions: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage.

It is also possible that the phone might be launched either with or alongside a compatible controller. And the phone can also be seen sporting the ‘ X antenna’ technology.

There haven’t been a lot of gaming-centric smartphones in the recent past, so the buzz created by the teaser is an obvious statement.

However, Black Shark seems to be taking on Razer and the recently unveiled Razer Phone.




The smartphone scored 270,680 in the benchmark tests, which is impressive when you compared to it is the Samsung S9+ with the score of 265,267.

Though many of the specifications about the new Xiaomi phone is not known what we can be certain is that this phone will live up to the standard of Xiaomi phones and would be a highly featured, smart looking and wallet-friendly phone.
